You laugh at me; you think I am lame,

You hate me, you rate me, you despise me,
I don’t blame you, coz you ain’t me.
It’s better to be hated for what you are,
Then to be loved, if from yourself you are so far,
If you are loved for what you are not,
That type of love I have never sought.
I am only me, that’s all I can ever be,
No more, no less, don’t take a second guess.
I love, I live, I laugh, I cry,
I ‘ve wished sometimes that I could die.
Some days I am funny, some days I am not,
Some days I am in overdrive, and I can’t stop.
You may not like me, but it’s okay,
Coz this is me, and this is how I will forever stay.
Don’t try to fix me; I am not broken,
You can try to stomp on me, and douse my inner flame,
Try to squash my every ounce of beauty inside,
But trust me, for the consequences later, I ‘ll not be blamed.
I am shy, I am quiet, I am an angel in disguise,
I am loud, I am noisy, I am a devil inside.

Coz if that’s what you think, you don’t know me yet.

I know myself, so let’s give it a try.
I don’t try to be sugar coated; I don’t walk on egg shells,

No one can see the pain that we hide,
